This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.
They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

Course Delivery
Classroom based training sessions to develop the knowledge and theoretical understandings.
Assessment
The assessment process includes the gathering of evidence to demonstrate the student’s competence. Students are assessed using written questions observation and project.
Entrance Requirements
- Successful completion of Year 12 or the equivalent level of study.
- Minimum English level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or above
The units of competency within BSB80215 include the 2 core and 2 elective requirements that make up BSB80515 Graduate Certificate In Management (Learning).
It is a requirement that participants have completed the units comprised in the BSB50515 Graduate Certificate in Management (Learning) prior to progressing onto the remaining units in BSB80215 Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership to justify the 52 week program
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study and 3 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise. or
Have completed a Bachelor degree in related fields of study and 2 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise. or
Have five years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise
AND have graduated
- BSB80515 Graduate Certificate in Management (Learning) or
- TAE70210 – Graduate Certificate in Management (Learning)
College Entry Requirements
Applicants wishing to gain entry into BSB80215 Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership have completed BSB50515 Graduate Certificate in Management (Learning) or TAE70210 – Graduate Certificate in Management (Learning) prior to progressing onto the remaining units in order to justify the 52 week program.
